The aim of the site you shall visit is to focus on cultural heritage as evident in Volos. It was created due to the forthcoming creation of three new cultural places in Volos: the museum of industrial heritage at the Tsalapatas brick factory, the City museum and the museum of the Argonauts. These three new museums will house in future cultural events and highlight the historical values of exhibits depicting findings from different areas in Volos and surroundings.

I-politismos.gr underlines the possible use of modern technology to protect and to promote cultural heritage by encouraging active use and further going experiences on the web. It will give a chance to both inhabitants and friends of the city to participate in a dialogue and exchange of knowledge about cultural experiences and issues of Volos.
